Reference for a Good Psychiatrist in Irving/Dallas areas

Hi all
Does anyone have a reference for a Good Psychiatrist in Irving/Dallas areas?  I have recently moved to this area and need to continue my medication. I am out of my medication and this is affecting my days & nights.

Ok, here is the story - I have a problem with my sleep. I do not sleep well in the night, its like the mind does not sleep properly at night. So next morning, I will wake up tired, body ache, sometime headache, indigestion, blurry eyes & vision and everything bad. I will not feel right, energetic thru out the day. Sleeping longer hours does not help, its like I can sleep for 10-12 hours but still wake up very tired.
During the sleep, I see lot of dreams which feels like keeping my brain/mind active where as it should sleep. By not having a good sleep, my next day is messed up with all sorts of problem. I also have 2 episoded of depressions in the past.

Ok, I started seeing this psychiatrist for last 1.5 years when I was in a different location. After the medication, things improved and I used to get a good sleep. I will feel very energetic next day and feel like I could do my best. The medications he prescribed

1) Venlor xr 75 (Venlafaxine Hydrochloride) - One before sleep

2) Mirtaz 15 (Mirtazapine) - one before sleep

Currently I am out of my medications, and need to see a doctor asap?

Or, are these medications available at Pharmacies without a doctor's prescription?

Please help.

Thanks Jerry

I went to the CVS pharmacy here, but the guy at the counter told me he will need a prescription to give the medicines.

Do you mean any other pharmacist?

I am looking thru my insurer's doc find page to get the list of in-network doctos. The ones I contacted do not have an open appointment untill dec-jan :(

Any other option do I have?

Thanks for your help.

You can ask your pharmacist about the need for a prescription, that discussion would be free in my experience - as for a doctor in a new area, I always check for an In-Network doctor for my private insurance.  I am now on Medicare for primary, but I still try to stay In-Network for my private insurance as that is my protection against catastrophic expense, i.e., I am covered for a maximum out-of-pocket expense.
