Well, obviously you have been seeing the doctors, but has any of them done a sleep study? If not, I recommend you ask for one to be done. In the meantime, try some things that will relax the body and mind...take a warm bath, drink warm milk, read a magazine (one not stimulating), listen to relaxing music (I like Celtic, it is very relaxing), talk a long, slow walk...do not do anything that will excite or stimulate you...most of all, stay off the computer!!! It has become the worst thing in the home for people who are having problems with sleep. Good luck, and I wish you well.
I'm wondering just what they gave you meds for without a diagnosis? Have you had a sleep study?
