Secondhand smoke?

I am exposed to this, but wondering how much? My parents smoke in the bathroom with the fan on so that ***** most of it through. However the smell sticks around for a bit. I try not to go into the bathroom for a while after they leave and usually when I go in I can't smell anything. Occasionally the smell reaches my room once they leave. My room is maybe 10-15 feet from the bathroom. I try not to be directly near people who smoke and away from the smoke when around someone outside.

If you breathe in secondhand smoke, you are also taking into your system the nicotine and other toxic chemicals, thus, you are considered a passive smoker. This could result in having respiratory infections, severe and frequent asthma attacks, ear infections and Chronic cough. I advise you to keep away from people who smoke, to avoid secondhand smoke-related diseases.

People who doesn't smoke but inhale it from other smoker is also affected. In fact, there are stories and topics regarding it. They get the same negative effects of cigarette just what the smoker himself will be getting. You can talk to your parents regarding it. They will surely understand you.
