Chantix and cluster headaches

Has anyone here tired Chantix?
Have you noticed cluster headaches since taking them? Cluster Headaches are those really intense sharp pain in the eyebrow area for a few seconds to one minute...then gone.

I'm not sure if its the weather or the Chantix.

Thanks a bunch

Thanks Terry and KathyJo...

I've had these types of headaches before...Ice pick migraine is a great name for it. thankfully it does only last but a few seconds.

I usually have no problem with the chantix...so i'm thinking it might just be the weather as its damp and rainy outside and i work in a basement. Blah

I will speak to my doctor as well though, anyway...just in case.

thanks again

I used Chantix and didn't have any complications. I have never heard of headaches related to Chantix and I just googled "chantix and headaches" which brought up several articles but there was nothing that links the two (mentions of Chantix and headache on the same page). Just wondering Terry where you heard/read it?

My husband suffered from cluster headaches and they were nothing like the ones you describe. His were so intense and lasted sometimes for hours. He was diagnosed with them many years ago and a well respected headache clinic here in NYC.

If I were you I would make sure my doctor knows about this.
Hope you feel better soon.

They call then ice pick migraines. And yes Chantix can bring them on as well as weather.
If you haven't had them before it most likely is the Chantix.
You may want to speak to your doc.

Hope this helps,

Terry
