Hi Terry and congrats on what must be a month now. See how quickly this time came? We were both saying we didn't think we could make it a week or two ago and here we are...non-smokers. Clearly, there are going to be rough times, but we just have to hang on tight and get through that moment (or day) without the smoking crutch, 'cause that's all it is, an emotional crutch.
I'm not having such an easy time so I'm talking to myself here too. That's why it's important to post, even when you feel the worst because helping others helps yourself. At least, I find this to be true for me.
So happy for you at this one month mark! :)

Redecorating is your reward Terry and should be complete with paints too ; )
OMG, my sense of smell also increased but as you say, you do adjust eventually so don't worry.
I hope we get a lot more responses to your question : ) It seems when people don't post that means they are struggling with their quit. I posted almost every day......it was my sanity : )
Farthers Day is going to be a tuff one for me. But I know its coming.
Other then having to replace the carpet, curtains, in the house oh and my purse
because of the smell. lol!
Being a migrainer I always had a really good sense of smell now it is x10.
Hubby tells me I have a bionic nose. It really can been a pain sometimes.
I hope it will settle down.
Glad to see you are still here my friend!
Terry
WOW! CONGRATULATIONS!
What a great accomplishment. You must feel wonderful : )
Just make sure to protect yourself when certain days roll around that might make you feel vunerable (re: your journal). There will always be times where our emotions will try to get the better of us, but you can anticipate some of them and make sure you don't fall victim to them ; )
Again, Congrats - WTG!
