I tried to quit a few months, but it just was'ent the right time for me, I used Chantix and when I tried and only got through the starter pills, so I guess my question is do I need to go back to the Dr and get the starter pack again or are the pills the same?

It's difficult for anyone to tell you what to expect....everyone's experience is so different. There is a website, whyquit.com which will help you with any questions you might have. Look under the "education" column.
As for the physical withdrawals....72 hours. Some will tell you that smoking is the hardest of all addictions to quit. I can tell you, as a smoker for nearly 40 years, it was very hard but if you truly want it, you can do it.
I wouldn't worry to much about the weight gain. Quitting is much more important. If you find yourself eating more, then try carrot sticks and celery....toothpicks, straws are just a few suggestions.
Make sure you tell everyone that you are planning on quitting. They will support you and they will be your conscience.
We are here for you too. Good luck
