To All

Well, I have been off the patch for over a week now and I am still smoke free. Just cold turkey now. I take it one day at a time and thats it.  It is hard, but we all can do it.

I used the patch for two weeks until I started having bad skin reactions. I want to also thank everyone for their wonderful support.

Congrats on your quit!

Your doing great!  It's all mental from here, Sweety.

This is a wonderful forum.  I received the best encouragement here when I quit the first time.  It's really what got me through

One day at a time......one minute at a time if that's what it takes. : )

Good for you sweety! It's all about the mental/emotional attachment now so just keep telling yourself all the reasons for the quit and why you need to stay quit.

I always post when I need the support and read the articles at whyquitdotcom. These are the things that help me maintain my quit.

Hang in there and know that we are here for you : )

Congratulations! you are doing this. Question: how long did you use the patch? I am a non smoker for 9 days. I have to take the patch off on my way home from work since I start getting a slight headache which is gone by the time I get home. I do fine in the evening. I just eat a small bowl of fish crackers throughout the evening, one at a time - hand to mouth habit. This quit is like my 100th time and I don't remember what it is like coming off the patch. I am a non smoker now, my motivation is at an all time high. The encouragement is wonderful. Thanks to all.
