Nicotine Delivery Devise? Interesting term :)
great news and congrats to you! Judging by the amount saved, I'd say your smokes are definitely cheaper then here in NY! They are almost $9.00 a pack!
Free and Healing for Ten Days, 1 Hour and 48 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 15 Hours, by avoiding the use of 181 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me $22.68.
I can see you've been trying so hard and I guess if you just give your lungs a break once in a while, that's better than smoking non-stop. I hear you about feeling insane when not smoking. The symptoms when quitting really did come to me as a complete surprise and it feels impossible to deal with. I am considering an anti-depressant to help me this time. Have you ever used one?...after you quit smoking, I mean.
i been quitting since 1999. I never went longer than 3 months, and kept using the inhaler through out it. I have read the site why quit?? so many times by Joel. yes it all makes sense, and an addict cannot take 1 drag. I give up. cold turkey almost killed me and others around me. the sugar intake I was taking in, and food too ,gave me high cholesterol, weight gain and now with this last quit possible diabetes, got to go have the blood test. I am an addict period. got off drugs and alcohol years ago, I am addicted to sugar, and nicotine, and gambling. So now if I have to keep living my life insane, then I will smoke some and eat sugar some. Otherwise I am making myself physically and mentally ill. I don't want cancer, but I don't want what I have left in life to be a living hell. Oh, I'm sure I will go through stages again, of quitting for a couple days, cuz I'm stupid, but my lungs do like that break.
Hiya all,
I went through whyquit.com its amazing and actually explains which part of our body craves for more nicotine, well !! picturing that now I am able to control my cravings.... I can't believe myself that from 15 cigarettes a day I cut down to just one and now am quitting it forever :) yay !!!!
Thanks for sharing peeps... love you all :)
We will be here too.

You people are terrific. Thanks so much. I'll do that, and let you know how I made out.
I forgot to mention the site whyquitdotcom, sorry
Hi,
I believe Kathy Jo meant to suggest reading the articles under "education" at the website, whyquit.com :)
Maybe if you understood your addiction it might be easier to quit and stay that way. That's what helped me.
Try reading the articles under "education." There is something(s) there for everyone and whenever I had an urge I would read until the craving passed. It worked every time : )
Also, support is essential so when you are ready, make sure you have a lot of them around you.
Good luck!
