I think making you mouth or your lips busy can help you to forgot smoking. Also focusing more on other things than in smoking can help you save money, and also to save your life.
I commend you on your new thinking and your new freedom from death sticks. My new quit date is Dec 18 (my x-mas vacation) My biggest fear is failure but reading posts like yours Help Thank you, keep them coming! Do you have any quit day tips? Happy Holidays-aheart:)
just watch out because you can smoke inside in N.C. and everybody smokes! I took a trip to S.C. shortly after quitting and the restaurants were like smoky coffins! People looked eons older then what they probably were and had a sickly palor.....could this be what I convinced myself of or had I already started looking and feeling that much better? Whatever it was, I was SO turned off by it and it just reinforced my quit ; )
On a brighter note....it will probably be warmer with less white stuff : )
We are having a brutally cold day in NYC, brr!
Thanks All.
It feels good to make a post like that. I am enjoying this life as a non smoker.
and with it being less than 20 degrees, i am soooo happy to not have to go outside.
though i know when i get home i will have to go outside with the doggie for a little bit...even if its just three or four throws of the frisbee. He needs his fix. :)
next winter i will be living in North Carolina...please tell me it doesn't get this cold! then i can play frisbee with Spencer all year long!!!
I was so happy to read your post. You're doing just fantastic and have such a positive attitude!

You might want to put a post-it on your forehead when you are taking a mind break. This way you want have to say anything ; )
