chantix

Im 27 I have a great family and Im the only smoker in the family, When we go on vacation or around both sides of the family i cant smoke. Iv been smoking for bout 10yrs now. and my problem is i dont want to quite but i have to. it would make my life so much easyer. Im always worrying when or if i will get my next smoke. I would call myself a tasker and my reward is a smoke. I will tell myself if i clean the kitchen then i can have a smoke, or if i got to get up and make dinner then i can reward myself with a smoke. my DR, is putting me on chantix does it work or am i waisting my money?

Keep this website handy: whyquitdotcom
This website supports cold turkey quits, but there is absolutely no reason why you can't read some of the excellent articles and prepare for May 1 : )

Do you and your loved ones a favor and don't let yourself get to where I let myself go to : )
I smoked for 38+ years and am quit for 1 1/2 years. I always wanted to quit earlier but never got around to it, and now I only hope I am not to late.
We are here to support you.

Like anything else, it only works if you want it to. If you are going into this quit with the attitude "I don't want to quit but I have to" then yes, it's a big waste of money.
There is nothing that you can take that will magically make you quit unless you put some time and energy into it.
If you want a reason to reward yourseld, then quit. You might want to try your reward program with something healthier......maybe chocolate.

Good luck
