does chantix cause seizures

i would like to know if the drug chantix causes seizures. i have just started taking it and since i have been on it ii have been having seizures. so this is why i want to know  this info

I took chantix on 2 different occasions and both time I had a seizure.  I went to the neurologist and had all of the tests and they said that it can cause seizres on rare occasions.

Haven't heard about siezures but I had horrible side affects! When I took it they didn't have any warnings about mental health side affects. It sent me off the deep end! Keep in touch w/ your Dr when your on that stuff its powerful. Good luck w/ your quit!!

I never heard of that either. I am taking it without problems and it works for me.

We are not medical doctors so if you want to know about the side effects then you should call them (chantix) directly at 1-877-CHANTIX. Also, there is something that comes with the prescription that tells you about the risks. You had better read up on it.

Sorry to hear that you are having seizures. I took chantix with very little side effects.
