tbi and smocking

im jim 29 i suffered a tbi sep of 2012 from a motorcycle accident im trying to find why i need to quit smoking anything could not find anything on this so i signed up for this forum in hopes to find out

thank you that's what i assumed smoking cigarettes, what about weed? or a tbi that's over a year old?

Hi!
Latest research shows that smoking slows the recovery from concussion. Chronic smoking in an individual who has suffered a traumatic brain injury impairs the speed at which the person processes information, his visuo-spatial learning capacity, memory, and global neurocognition.  Hope this helps.
