44 year old mum.

Hey all, 3 weeks ago my mum fell ill and decided to go to the doctor. Found out she has two brain  aneurysms and one had ruptured. During the cooling operation she had a stroke, due to Vaso spasm. She is totally Incontenant, she has left side paralysis. Her speech is poor, sometimes when I talk its like she is looking through me. She says strange things a lot and is barely awake. She has an NG tube to feed her. Please tell me it gets better. I'm getting really worried about her left side, it isn't even responding to pain or reflex.

Could I please hear others recovery process etc ?

I had a right brain bleed on June 6.  I couldn't move my left side and felt nothing on my left -- not even pin pricks.  Six weeks later, I can walk with walker and  can use my left arm.  I'm clumsy and awkward, but still doing PT & OT.  Hopefully, I'll keep improving.  Hope your mum is also doing better now.
