Greetings Ladies...

Thank you all so very much for being some the coolest ladies I've had the pleasure of meeting on line. ;o) You are so welcome & I am enjoying keeping up & tracking/posting BFPs, syms, health changes, etc. ;o)

Sherri: THANK YOU so very much, because your post is very encouraging and needed for sure for me as well as I am sure for all the ladies. ;o) It does get hard sometimes to stay motivated, to not allow doubt to affect your mental, but it sure feels good to know you aren't alone. The real reward is when others have syms you've been experiencing, then you know...no, there isn't anything "crazy" going on with just me. ;o)

That was right on point, with the "old eggs" thingy too. ;o) Some of these knuckleheaded RE's can "kick rocks" for all I care. ;o) Now, when I say kick rocks, I mean literally. (ha) Go out, get a hobbie, stop trying to force feed us discouragement. ;o) Yeah...I'm kinda delirious & sleepy. Thanks again for the up lifting post.

(((HuGs))) & RSSBD To All The Beautiful Ladies~

I was so sorry to read about your emotional roller coaster the other day but glad to hear the day after was better! And there's nothing wrong at all with wanting another baby after having 3! And the angst and torture you're going through with the TTC struggle is just as bad for you as for those of us who have had no children yet. I have a friend with one child trying for #2, and before I started trying really hard to conceive, I couldn't completely understand her pain, since she has a beautiful 5 year old son. But I do now. Completely.

We are women, and women are created to reproduce. When we have trouble doing that, it causes us great distress! Everything you're feeling is completely normal esp with the stress and the medications you must be taking for ART. We are all 100% behind you and praying for a positive result! Sounds like alot of follicles to me, which I would think is a good thing, but I don't know what antediluvian means. Will have to go look it up on the internet :)

You have the right idea with doing things to help relax you (reading, taking a bath, etc.) Try to lock out the nervous feeling from getting inside you! So easy to say, right? But I know three women personally who adopted a baby (thereby relieving themselves of the stress of TTC) and then became pregnant naturally almost immediately! So there is something to that stress thing! But it seems to me "controlling" stress does not work, letting go of it does. I am in the same boat as you (except I'm still trying naturally for now), so I totally get that there is not really such a thing as "letting go" of stress while you're in the middle of TTC!

I am praying for you and for everyone in this group! We are all wonderful amazing women with so much love to give, and we all deserve to have our dreams of a baby realized! In my case, hormone balance seems to be the culprit. And that can be affected by so many things (stress, diet, immune problems, medications, age, etc.) So I am doing what I can to help my body balance its hormones. After a couple of months so far of that, I've already seen a noticeable change. I had more ovulation symptoms than I've had in 20 years this month! Hadn't seen actual cervical mucus or ovulation spotting in forever! So I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and attempt to be patient! (which I am terrible at!) :-)

Everyone hang in there! I know sometimes the biological clock is ticking loudly in our heads and we feel like we're running out of time, but I'm starting to believe that we are being misled a little bit! I believe that if we are having periods, then most likely we still have good eggs coming out. I also read that menopause as we know it with the terrible hot flashes, night sweats, etc., is a newer phenomenon and is not how it's supposed to be. Women used to just have their periods stop in the 50's and that was it.

And I think the "old egg" idea is a load of crap! Maybe I'm wrong but I'll see for myself after my hormones get completely back to normal! (So eggs can be "old" but sperm can't?) I've had one m/c and 4 chem preg's, but they all happened when my hormones were off the charts in one direction or another! So who's to say everything won't be fine when my hormones are balanced?

Any way, had to get all that off my chest! Thanks for listening! SSBD to all! And everyone have a great relaxing weekend!

:) Sherri

Today's u/s was with a new (to me) doctor, female, and good bedside manner. Right follies are 19, 18, 13, 12, 12, and four follicles under 10; left side had 17, 15, 14, 12, 12, and five under 10. Everything is moving along like the usual clockwork. Except of course that the eggs in those follicles are antediluvian! This clinic goes easier on the meds and tries to produce fewer follicles than my previous RE, where I ended up with 20 follicles, 16 eggs, but only 3 by implantation time. Over the next week I should probably put together the extra payment for ICSI and Assisted Hatching.

Well, I had a solid, healthy brunch, and am now going to relax with a book, to test that theory of "when you stop trying, that's when your body relaxes and you get pregnant." I'm not sure how any of us doing IUI and IVF and taking temps with or without meds can ever relax *that* much, but until I get an acupuncture appointment, I'm going to try to distract my body with books and music and warm soaks in the tub. Ssshhh, don't tell my body what I'm up to...

Thanks to Savanha for keeping the list, and Good luck to everyone.

Oh dear that sounds like a rough day. Your heart wants what it wants. 10dpo is very early as you know. I am right behind you at 7dpo and also going through a roller coaster. Take care.
