What should I do about my depression

I've been feeling depressed for a long time now, probably since last year. I feel like I'm worthless and that no mater what I do I wont matter. I dont feel like people care about me, and I feel lonely. I also have sex with guys to try and feel loved, so that I feel for a while that someone likes me. I have quite a few friends but I still feel like people don't like me. That I hang out with them, but once I leave they wonder why I hang out with them. For the past couple months I have started crying for no reason. Like I don't have to be really sad but I'll feel like crying. I don't feel like anything is worth it anymore, once things getter better, a little later things feel worst than they started.
I try really hard to get great grades(all 'a's), keep fit, have friends, and all that, but it doesnt make me happy, i dont even feel accomplished I just want to do more so i might feel something.
I don't feel good enough for, 3 out of 5 of my boyfriends have tried to get at my bestfriend after dating me. Making me feel like I dont even matter compared to her. That poeple will always want her over me.
Some days I feel really happy though, I feel popular, and pretty, and just happy. But usually those times don't last and I'll be upset again.
I dont know what to do. I wanna get therapy but I don't know how to bring it up. And plus i'm embarrassed to tell my mom. I just don't know what to do anymore, things just dont get better

All you got to do is tell your mother you are not feeling well, and you want to see a doctor.

Exercise is good for the mind and the body , lots of people suffer from depression - i do too i am bipolar and it ***** i know the deepest lows.

You have to ask for help because if it is sticking around longer than you want then it may be a problem that needs help.

trust in you r mom

god bless

       Hi.
I understand what you are going trough. My situation is similar but even more complicated.

I believe it is better to tell your mom.
I didn`t when I was 13, and by now I have caused them so much problems with my behavior, drinking, skipping school, social problems in school, nervous breakdowns and so on. Trust me, it`s pretty hard to go trough all of that and you don`t want that. After all of that, my parents realized by their own something is not right.
If you aren`t ready to tell them you are depressed, then maybe you should tell them some version of it. I mean, tell them you have problems with something not so complicated, and some professional help will be nice because you need an objective opinion and advise about how to handle it and you are not ready to talk to her about it because you for you, it`s like you have to talk to her about your boyfriends(I guess you don`t feel comfortable to do that), and you are ashamed to talk to her about that. Ask her to understand because more pressure will make it even worse for you...

The easiest way is to talk to an expert because he can help you, and if you don`t find some support like that, it can get harder. Do it to spare your parents and you of nonfunctional relationship. Because they do love you, and even though they maybe don`t say it so often(my didn`t), trust me, they do. And that makes you loved.
Family is the only group of people who will always be there for you... Maybe it sounds stupid when you are teen and stuff, but try to talk to them more. About life, about irrelevant stuff. They really can make some points and explain you how to look life from different perspective. They can show you things differently. And talking and hanging out, doing hobbies might help, even though I sometimes see it as a runaway from what you are...

Best wishes... And I hope you will find some way to tell your mom... You deserve to be happy as much as every other person, and is that gonna happen, depends on you... Good look...
