About two years before you get your period you will notice white discharge. this will continue throughout the two years because your vagina is cleaning itself. PMS might take effect 12 to 14 days before your period but it might not be too noticable. PMS symptoms are mood changes, sore breasts, irritability, cramps and a clear, slippery discharge. When your period starts it will probably be light and brownish instead of bright red. As your period progresses, it will turn bright red, and then brownish again when your period finishes.
Yes all those signs show when you're getting closer to starting your period. You'll probably get a little discharge from your vagina too first, something clear or whitish, like egg-white.
Anyway I started mine when I was 14. This is what happened...I went to school, but didn't feel like I normally did. I was in a history lesson, and kept getting a slight backache, and like I couldn't get comfortable in the chair....then when I went home after school I had a little ache in my lower belly, took an aspirin for it....went for a pee and voila! There was the bleeding suddenly!
I knew what to expect, and had some pads and tampons in my drawer in my bedroom ready. I was quite proud of this event!
But it made me feel a bit tired and I always got slight cramps every time so I took ibuprofen every month for about 1 day which took the cramps away.
usually about age 12 or 13..your breasts begin to grow..you may bleed light the first time...then for teens it usually increases....keep a pad in your purse just incase...your in school or some place where you are not able to get protection
other than that really its just a toss up I was 13 one of my friends was 11 one was 15...
