Is it wrong to live in the past

Everything just seemed better in the 90's and early 2000's. The music, movies, and even the people seemed better. People seem lazier these days and it's not just the kids. You never see kids outside anymore I remember I was always outside as a kid. Is it normal to feel as the times you grew up were better?

I guess a certain amount of sentiment about your youth is normal,it seems a shame though to not be able to enjoy your life now.....

yes it is normal because childhood we didn't have responsiblities and have to work, we could have lazy days, sleep in days, and life was slower. I was a kid in the 1970's. Life was slower, people stopped and chatted as you walked down the street, now people are on the computer inside trying to talk online!  It's technology that changed us.  90's and 2000's were too bad either.  I loved the 70's and 80's. People were much free-er but in different ways, we spoke our minds politely, argued for what we believed in without violence, there wasn't violence on tv, there's wasn't all the sex and horror all over and drive by shootings well what were those?  We were a calmer, peaceful society who worked hard for our money.  Watch All in the family, and you'll see how much that could be on tv today except for it doesn't have violence, torrid sex, swearing, and some of the remarks about Nixon are outdated. But it was more slower life where people read books, watched some tv, and socialized and actually talked to each other in person.

Yes it is normal. However it may help to accept the time you live in now too. But it's ok to enjoy the past too.
