i dont know ...

im 17 years old and for the last few months i have been having quite strong mood swings .. not feeling myself, getting upset at tiny things that don't matter, stressing over school work that is not an issue, feeling depressed for no reason and i don't understand why. i have been getting sick to the stomach even when things aren't exactly how i see then ... the smallest comment i get becomes everything and its making me feel worse ....
i really don't know what is wrong, i was diagnosed with anxiety a while back and i have always had a fear about cars and just worrying about everything but i don't feel like that ... its much different
can someone help me ... i really have nowhere else to turn. . .

Hi there, I'm 31 but struggled with my mental health since aged 11 so thought I'd join this community to see if I could offer some support.

I strongly believe that some people are more vulnerable to feel this way, its sometimes in the genes.. its crappy but there is one good thing you get out of it..you feel for other people and will one day be able to help someone else!

It sounds like you feel everything, everything affects your mood and you have no control over this.. I used to feel this way and to some extent still do.. I wish I could ignore things but I can't, I wish I had thicker skin.. and then I view it as my fault for not being strong enough so the vicious circle carries on...

It sounds like your mind is on high alert and things are getting to you wayyy too much.
I think you ought to see the doctor and talk these issues through, it may be that your anxiety has got to a point where it is having a severe impact on the rest of your life..anxiety is a terrible thing to live with, but you don't have to suffer, there are medications and therapies that will help.. it does sound you are desperate to be able to relax.

If there is anything else, re post and we can all help you through..

Hugs

Hi.
I`m old as u are... And I go trough the same thing. This time can be hard for us. We are trying to find ourselves and we often feel vulnerable...

Tiny thing... Like what? When someone says u something judgmental? U don`t have 2 believe in everything you hear. People, especially at our age, r judgmental and don`t accept differences. That`s their fault. Not yours... And if they are that way - judgmental people who don`t respect your right to be who you are, you really don`t need them in your life.  It`s great they have some comments. They give u opportunity to "filter human scrum" like my friend says... and to find real friends who loves u because of who u r...

About the school... Well, every person who I know and who cares about school and successs is under stress because of school. I`m not one of them, so I don`t know... But u can`t change how much you7ve learned by stress so I don`t see the point of being stressed out... And we all hate the school because they torture us w/boundaries... But that`s the life we made 4 ourselves... Humans, the most "intelligent" creatures on the Earth... and we have to live w/that…
