5th day on placebo pill, still no period

I have been taking Microgestin 1/20 for 1 month now. I am almost finished with my second pack, I'm on the placebo week, its my fifth day no period still. I'be been taking my bcp on time everyday. Should I be worried or should I stay calm until I start taking my next pack?

It can be just your body adjusting to starting the pill, and I know when I was on B/C I didn't start my period for 3-4 days into the placebo pills, don't worry about it, if it doesn't start within the next week or so, take a test, if it's negative meet with your gyn. and ask him/her what's going on with your cycles! No I had a period for the first pack, but the second pack I didn't get it?

Have you had unprotected s e x in that month of starting the pill ? When u start bc pills u have to wait at least a full month an period before its fully efective ..if u haven't had unprotected s e x its probably just the pill messing with your hormones an will settle down after a few packs of pills ..drs usually say its normal to have weird cycles an missed periods up to 3-6 months after starting a new bc ...hope this helps
