Just wanted to wish you both all the luck in the world. I went through the exact same thing when I was 18.  My boyfriend and I decided that he should go and tell his parents and I would go and tell mine. I thought my dad might like strangle him or something.  Anyway, that's what we did and it kinda back-fired on us.  Each set of parents had thir own ways of handling the situation.  Being catholic, his parents thought I should go away somewhere, have the baby and give it up for adoption.  My parents opted for the abortion route.  My boyfriend and I were caught in the middle and really didn't know what to do.  As hard as it will be, the decision is ultimately one you and your boyfriend need to make together. Try to hang in there together and go tell each parents together. You are not alone in this. God is always there for you.  And you have friends here on Medhelp who support you however things unfold.  We are as close as your computer.  Please keep in touch!  We care about all three of you.               Linda

I became pregnant when I was 14, the ladies are right, you're not the first to ever go through this and you will be fine!  My pregnancy at a young age was much less complicated than the one I have now.
It was very hard, and I've had my share of breakdowns over not being able to be a normal teenager, but I now have a healthy, handsome 12 year old and he is great.  I definetly wouldn't recommend having children so young, but if you find yourself in the that situation and decide to have the baby, I just want you to know it's not the end of your life.
I hope all goes well with you telling your parents and his!

I understand you being scared but your parents love you and even if they're shocked or upset at first, try to understand and give them time to adjust to the news. Just be honest with them and tell them you're scared but that you really need them.

As for the morning sickness, try to keep saltine crackers with you and nibble on them a lot. Drink plenty of water, 7-Up and Sprite. Eat small meals but often, instead of larger, fatty meals. Make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating healthy and drinking water. Part of the upset stomach could be nerves since you're so nervous about telling anybody. Once it's out in the open you may feel better knowing you'll have more support.
I know you're young but you're not the first to have this happen. This could very well draw you and your mom even closer.
Look for a teen pregnancy center in your city. It  could help if you could be around other teens in your position and the counselors there who help them.
Just take one day at a time and try not to stress too much about the future. With support from your family (and hopefully from your boyfriend and his family) you will be fine. Take care & God bless!

if you got a positive your pregnant. time to tell your parents, baby's father and schedule your ob/gyn appointments. get started on prenatals and get your plan in order.

good dluck.

The tests are pretty accurate. They measure the hcg, or pregnancy hormone levels in your blood stream and urine. If you tested positive then the next step would be to make a doctor appointment with an obgyn and get the pregnancy confirmed and get started on some prenatal vitamins.
If you haven't let your folks no yet now is a good time to tell them. Don't be scared to tell them. You're their child and even if they're shocked or hurt they should still support you. I wish you the best. God bless.

I don't really think another test is going to change things.  It's time to make an appt with the Dr.  You need to get it confirmed, whether yes or no.  Do you have a good support system?I'm hoping you have someone close you can discuss this with, like a parent or close relative, an adult.

You probably already know, one way or another, by now.  If not, stop freaking out because the stress alone can delay your period. It can also cause some of the symptoms you mentioned.  That said, its probably been enough of a scare for you to make you rethink your birth control method.  Personally, I'd bet you got lucky and are NOT pregnant.  If so, learn from this experience, please.

I think it's time to go to the doctor.  Please while you are there look into birth control.
