Just spoke with her a few minutes ago.  She's doing better (had a BAD reaction to the pain meds).  She's coming home today!!!    She gets her sutures removed Monday and her pathology report but, regardless of the new pathology, she's having RAI because of the spread on the first surgery.

yeah, let's throw her a big party!!

Hey all!

I just got a PM from RQ's mom.  Yeah, her surgery was Tuesday and they did a complete neck dissection and took more lymph nodes.  She will be having RAI in two weeks.  She was a bit sick today from the pain meds but is doing better tonight.  She will probably come home tomorrow.

I'm going to call her tomorrow at the hospital and I'll let her know that everyone in wondering how she is and sends their best.

Thank heavens for GREAT doctors and cancer hospitals!!!

Yes, her second surgery was yesterday - she probably wont be home until tomorrow.  Saying lots of prayers for her!
