11 days post-op.... TT

Hey guys! Hope everyone's day is going well. I have a question and its pretty simple. Is it possible to feel pretty decent after 11 days post-op and 4 days on 125mcg Synthroid?

I mean I have my moments of hot cold, jittery, tired, maybe achy, but its managable and I can handle it.

Just wanted to ask. I dont want ot sit here and think the worst is yet to come. I am just taking one day at a time.

i had TT 5 days ago, but they started me on Synthroid same day as surgery.  i felt really good considering....today was the first day i felt a bit foggy and tired.  my guess is that my natural hormone has been depleated and the synthroid has not built up all the way.  the literature says synthroid takes about 2 weeks, sometimes 3 to fully engage.

sound like you are doing great.  i'd be concerned about the 99.5.  i don't blv hot flashes actually increase core body temp.  maybe repeat in an hour?

did you have any problem with a post op itchy rash on the neck and shoulders?  i have this rash in the area that the surgical soap was most concentrated and it is driving me crazy.  thx and take care

I take it being hot is normal too? I took my temp and it said 99.5. Is that a fever or just being hot??

I think it is possible to feel better after 4 days. Now after having said that, I'm not an expert and someone else might have a more accurate answer.

I'm glad to hear that you are managing your "moments". Each day gets better.
