Armour and Cytomel together??
Hello! I have been hypothyroid for a nr. of years, and was feeling ok, not great, on Levothyroxine. So this week, I asked my dr. if I could get on Armour. She said yes, and put me on 90mg of Armour, and also 5 mg of Cytomel. From reading around, I have not seen anybody else take this combination. Is anybody else taking this? Also, I have been having a headache ever since. When will this go away??
I take 30mg Armour and 5 mcg Cytomel in the morning at 6:30am and 30mg Armour and 5 McG Cytomel again at 3pm. I feel great, much better than when they had me on just 30mg Armour once a day.
That's a pretty beefy amount of T3 to start on. I don't like that at all.
Do you have your labs to post here. It would be imparative to post the TSH - the FREE T3 and the FREE T4
If the Free T3 test was not done and she put you on this type of treatment - I would highly question her motive.
