Armour side effects???

I've been on armour about a week and half for my hypo and have just recently started to feel some side effects.  I've started getting some pains in my chest, it feels like it's right up under my heart, mostly during the night or in the morning.  They don't really last long but I definitely notice it when its there.  I am also very aware of my heart beat, even though it's not racing and at a normal rate, around the time these happen.  I know that this is a side effect that you can experience while on armour.  My question is, is this something very serious??  I am due for a testing in two weeks to see about correcting my doseage.   Is this something that can wait and be fixed with a dosage correction??   Armour so far has taken care of about 75% of my symptoms and I'm hoping that after this next testing, I can make it 100%.  I have read so many good things about this and it seems like it is beginning to work just as well for me but is this a sign that I am just not compatible with this drug???   Thanks in advance for any and all input.

I think you would benefit with splitting the dosage into 15mgs 2x's a day.

Peggy is also right and an increase may be needed soon.

You are on a very low dose. Were you on Synthroid before? If so what dosage?

You are having normal adjustments on this med.

It took me 3 mths to have the heart jitters go way -  I do not think you are in danger. BUT I would like to see your lab tests and know some of your history with Dx and meds before really saying anything.

sounds like it might be time for an increase in your dosage. What are you on? did you see our armour thread? you can post your ?? there if you'd like.

If you have an old fashioned thermometer, check your basal temp first thing in the morning.  Also check your heart rate.
