I personally don't believe a nodule should grow that amount, that quickly. I only know a few who have experienced it. In any case, I don't believe waiting 2 months is a good course of treatment - I'm not a doctor, it's my personal experiences I write from.
I think you should seek a second opinion from a GP you trust, or refer to another Endo. At minimum, detailed blood work should be done, including a full thyroid panel and cancer screen, and you should have another ultrasound immediately. The combination of those will tell you a lot. You are going to have to force the Doc to act it appears, or replace him.

I did find the nodule by myself. There is actually 5 nodules clumped together the largest is the 2.2 x 1.6 cm. That is the one that they biopsied.
Did you find the nodule, yourself, the size of the nodule you list is very small and usually only found with ultrasound/sonogram technology? If you feel a lump the size of a ping pong ball now in the same position, this should be biopsied again. Both of my tumors are growing, but growing at a very slow, almost mechanical pace. The meds have actually reduced my cyst size over the last 2 years, so such fast growth warrants a second opinion in my belief. I would not wait a "couple of months" on this.
