Best type of doctor

Right now I see a family physician that is a doctor of osteopathic medicine, which I love because he does integrative medicine. When thyroiditis was suspected they sent me to an endocrinologist.

I'm not so sure about the endocrinologist and wondered what other types of doctors I should get opinions from. What doctors have you found helpful to get a better picture of your body being?

Some of my symptoms include:
irregular periods, regulated with BC
depression anxiety
all over body invisible itch
muscle weakness
swollen lymph nodes
acne
bloating
vitamin deficiencies
poor night vision
nausea with a mix of diarrhea and constipation (really sensitive stomach)

I've done the rounds - GPs ('normal' Drs), Endocrinolgist, Obstetrician/Gynaecologist & a really expensive 'thyroid expert ' GP. I've even been to a nutritionist who did an iridology scan on my eyes.

I've just hit the jackpot & found myself a very good 'alternative/complimentary/holistic' GP - who has queried/suspected things that the other Drs/specialists have overlooked.

I'm not sure who would be best for you, but for me, my neurologist is looking into everything, so much so that my primary is very confident with him finding out what is wrong!

I'm sure others will post soon!
