Blood Work

I went for my regular checkup recently and had blood work done and it came back that my chloride was a little low.  My dr. did not say anything about it.  I noticed on my paperwork after I got home.  It was real low,but was a little.  Does anyone know why your chloride levels would be low?

It was my thyroid checkup and he did complete bloodwork.  He is an Endo, but I just wondered if there should be some concern about the chloride being low.  I think the low level was 98 and mine was 97.  I am going to my regular dr. next week and I am going to ask him about it.  I guess several factors could have caused it to be low including medication I may have taken.  I think the only meds I had taken that day was my synthroid.  Will your thyroid (Hashimotos Disease) make your chloride low?
