Maybe thyroiditis (inflammation) ??
I dont believe you are hyperthyroid either.
If you was...your T3 would be 'through the roof ' and it isnt.
But best to get FT3, FT4 done as these tests are more accurate than the normal 'T's".
Tsh can fluctuate at any given time and isnt a true indicator of hypo/hyper.
All the best :)
TSH (w/reflex to FT4) is an instruction to the lab. It means "test TSH, and if it's abnormal, test FT4 also". Your FT4 is in the reference range, so they didn't test FT4. Your antibodies are good, which means you don't have an autoimmune disease (Hashi's or Grave's). Your T3 is in the lower end of the range. NONE of your labs indicate hyper.
I'm glad he's sending you to another doctor. I don't see where he sees "hyper" in any of your labs. Also, he tested total T3, not free T3. TT3 is considered an obsolete test and pretty much a waste of money.
Do you have either hypo or hyper symptoms?
Maybe this will help you.
