low TSH effect on osteoporosis and heart

I was told last week by a new endocrinologist that low TSH (mine is very low) causes osteoporosis and atrial fibrillation. Is this true?

I've been taking Armour thyroid for many years after a complete thyroidectomy. last week I saw yet another endocrinologist at the insistence of my new PCP. I do not have the results of labs done last week. Endo doc told me that low TSH causes osteoporosis. (I have had that for years.), and also causes atrial fibrillation. I wondered how much truth there is to her statements. She also stated that she hated Armour thyroid and that it smelled "like a PIG!".  I don't plan to see her again, I will continue seeing the ENT currently taking care of my thyroid meds. However, I just wondered how much truth there was in her statements and what questions I should be asking my ENT doc.

It all depends on how your TSH got to a low level.  What was the actual result for your TSH test?  Why were you being tested?  If due to symptoms, please tell us about those.  Were other thyroid tests, such as Free T4 and Free T3 done?  Are you on thyroid med?
