Yeah, but here's the weird part. I eat about 4 balance bars/day (for diabetics/hypoglycemics) and each of them has 25% of the RDA for Vitamin D, PLUS I take a multivitamin. How could I be vitamin D deficient?
I don't know the difference between blood sugar and insulin, so I may be wrong about the fasting thing.

The more I read about IgM, the more confused I get.
I know my vitamin D was low, and I am taking 1,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily, which brought it back into range quickly.
I wasn't fasting (I had just eaten before the test), and a previous 5 hour glucose tolerance test back in 1990 showed that I had reactive HYPOglycemia (huge drop in blood sugar within one 1/2 hour). I've always had problems with LOW blood sugar.
Btw, my vitamin D levels were also low: 28 ng/mL when they should be 32-100 ng/mL, and I read somewhere that hypothyroidism and vitamin D deficiency also go hand in hand.
The IgM's normal range is 40-230 mg/dL and I was 33, i.e., low.
Free insulin should be 0.0-22.0 uIU/mL and I was 22.7; and total insulin should be 0.0 - 22.0 uIU/mL and I was 25
Your TSH looks pretty good, but your Free T4 looks a little low. That's a guess by looking at my lab results.
Your TPOab and TGab came back below limits, which is good.
Were you fasting? A sandwich or any food could skew your insulin results.
I can't say much about the other tests. Could you post the lab ranges for the various tests?
If your TSH is good and your Free T4 is on the low end of normal, a TRab test may be helpful.
