Dizziness and Hypo Help Please!

I was diagnosed as hypo last year after several bouts of dizziness, mostly while walking or standing. Bloodwork showed that I have hypothyroidism (hashimoto's). After taking several different doses of synthroid, and finally getting my levels in the "ideal" range earlier this year, I'm still dizzy.  The labs say I'm in the normal range for t3, t4, tsh, etc.

I've had glucose tests, adrenaline tests, MRI, seen an ENT, and I feel like giving up. They can't find anything. I feel unsteady while walking, like I'm going to just tip over. The ENT said it doesn't sound like vertigo since there is no spinning sensation.  I still think it could be thyroid related, but my endocrinologist doesn't think it is. I'm so tired of going to the doctor with the same problem. Anyone had any experience with this? My only symptom is dizziness.

Hmmm  I wonder what your free t3 level is, all though with a lower T4 like that if your t3 is in normal range it would show you are converting okay. I would work towards getting the tsh down as close to .50 as you can and see how you feel.
Just a thought...have them check your B12 level. When i get low it really agravates my already dizzy problem...lol

Yes, I know how eggshell foam feels. It is almost like I'm sinking with some of my steps. When they called with my most recent labs, they just left a message with TSH and T4. I was feeling okay then, but the dizziness came back in full force this week. They took blood today so I don't have that back yet.

Here's the one from 3 weeks ago:

TSH = 1.03
T4 = 0.80

Hi there....what exactly were your last labs? Post them with ranges and let me take a look. With hashimotos your tsh needs to be supressed to a .50-1.0 or you will still be symptomatic. A lot of drs don't seem to have a good understanding of hashi's. I was fortunate and found an endo that does.
You sound exactly like me with dizziness and unsteadyness. Sometimes I feel like i am walking on eggshell foam...lol  It is a really horrible feeling to continually have....i am starting to feel a little better now that i changed to armour. I was not converting properly and was undertreated for 2 yrs by my old endo. I recently reached optimum levels but know that i can go hypo again at any time with hashi's, so i pay close attention to my symptoms.

I forgot to mention that I'm 23 years old and female. I've never had any other health problems and I'm in good physical shape.
