Hi there lil lady,
My BP is check often and never up only when I work out. I had a EKG to see if my heart was funky... It was all good. What is a thyroid storm? That sounds fun! I think I am going Hyper... It was lower last time but now I think to low.. I will call Monday and talk to the stupid Dr of mine. I could have been as good of a dr and he is! NOT KIDDING! I know more than him and that is not much... I just feel dizzy and goofy. I will get on top this asap!!  Is this dangerous? What else should I watch for?LOVE ya

Hey kiddo,

When was that last TSH?  If it's been more than a couple of weeks, call that dead beat doctor of yours and get another TSH run.  You could be going too hyper.  Have you checked your BP?  If not, I think some of the grocery stores out there have BP monitors by the pharmacies - go stick your arm in the machine for the entire county to see.  If your BP is high call and *scream* at your doctor's answering service to get a TSH run *stat*.  It could be early thyroid storm (I got it 2 months after my RAI treatment too).  They would need to put you on beta blockers and lower your thyroid meds.

Never ending fun, eh?

Love ya kid

Ever since i was diagnosed hypoyhyroid 6 months ago and put on thyroid meds i have been dizzy. I had to go to the er while i was on armour becuase of this. I failed there balance test miserably. I fell over on one foot with my eyes closed. They daignosed me with vertigo.Im now on synthroid and cytomel and im the most dizzy i am ever. I can barely drive because of this. It seems to affect my vison and i am all over the road. Watch out. The endo say i might have an inner ear disorder like Menieres or something but i was never like this before. Its the meds. So now i am taking anti-vert to help me out. Well not yet i pick it up today.good luck.
