Got results from nurse...

Hello, I got my second blood work back from the nurse...of course she was suppose to call me back and didn't.  No big surprise.  However, I had my TT done just about 2 months ago and have already went from 100 to 125 of Synthroid.  My TSH was 3.335.  I'm still have anxiety, tiredness, heart palps, some mental confusion and muscle aches and pains.  What does everyone think?  Should I still be feeling this way with the level my TSH is at???  I just want to be prepared to talk to the doctor or nurse on Monday.

Thanks,

Brenda

It will take time to adjust. and with the latest med increase it may take at least 4 to 6 weeks to see improvement.

Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Stay on top of this and if you notice no improvement soon - contact your doctor and get a lab done.

Are you on calcium?  There was no injury to parathyroids during the surgery right?

I felt the same way when my tsh was within "normal range".  That may not be necessarily normal for you.  I am supressed for cancer.  My tsh was .011 on 250mcg of synthroid.  Definitely tell your doctor how you are feeling.  It took 7 months for me to feel good after my tt.  I was on so many different doses until my tsh close to zero. Did you have cancer?
