First blood work after tyroidectomy

Hello, new to this so don't know if I'm posting things right.  I had a total throidectomy a month ago and I'm still feeling real bad.  I'm so tired, ache, weak, shaky, heart rate goes up, irritable, etc.  I go for my first blood work tomorrow and don't know if I should take my medicine before or after??  I was put on 100mcg of synthroid.  If you were still hyperthroid would they need to increase or decrease the medicine???  Someone please help me!!  Thanks

Thank you for answering.  I already went before I got your message and I did as you said.  I woke up this morning with the tremors pretty good so I hope it shows something.  I'm going to my regular doctor tomorrow or Friday and I'm going to ask to have a whole thyroid panel done and I'm going to do that one after I take my medication to see how much difference there is.  I really appreciate you answering.

Hope all is well with you

Go early, and take your Synthroid after, if you can.
If that just won't work, then take your Synthroid as usual.

If you are still hyperthyroid your medication will be reduced.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
