Glowing in England!

Hi all!

Hope everyone is ok! I haven't posted muh reently but i have been lurking in the background :)

I'm back in my hospital isolation room after having my second dose of RAI! 150mci, feeling a bit nauseous and tired but neck is not as swollen as last time, yey... hoping that means theres not as much left to swell (or is it that it's not working as well urghhh!)

got my laptop and mobile broadband but keep loosing the signal... think it's the lead lined room blocking it! will try posting this again!

anyway just wanted to check in and hope everyone is ok :)

Hi Helen;
Are you back home today? Things are well with me.  I'm just waiting for an appointment for my annual scan or ultrasound.  We have lots of snow here as well, but I guess we are used to it.  Take care.

Am in Herts-------snowy Herts!! U?  Yeah - Croyde is nice but I really love the long empty beach at Saunton and can spend days there walking forever into the ozone mist!!   Hope your day passess quickly enough------guess its one kind of day in your life you can without being rude call a sucky one!!  x

not much to report..... bored and salivery glands tingling, so sucking on loads of sweets...yuk!

spoke to my mum on the phone last night and she said to me, why don't you keep a diary while you're in there?........well it would be a very boring diary mum! :)

hope everyone ok, no snow here today, actually the sun is shining through the little window which is quite nice :)

Hi Trish!

Thankyou, i know my last treatment was in july, but it seems like only weeks ago i was in this exact same room!

I had 100mci last time and WBS showed lung uptake and thyroglobulin was 60 so am having 150mci this time, hope it does the job! had quite a lot of chest and neck pain last time but this time is a lot milder so hoping thats a good sign!

How are you? year weather over here pretty bad, lots and lots of snow and very cold! maybe it's not so bad over here after all, although i am missing out on building a snow man with my nephews!

Hi Helen, I hear you guys are getting quite the weather.  No surfing for a while.  It seems like not long ago you had RAI.  What was your last dose? This dose should take care of things.  Good luck.
