Graves disease and cortisone

Are there any links between graves disease (hyperthyroidism) which is currently medically under control and stress ? adrenalin episodes (palpitations, nausea, buzzing ears, headaches)?

hi, i am new at this, never been in a chat room before. Yes i am diagnosed now for 18 months and have had recent bloods a week ago and the tests that show all levels hormones (even free T3, 4) as normal. I go to a reputable public hospital here in Stockholm so I am assuming the tests are true. I feel terrible and am having these symptoms (getting worse at the weekend). I am recently being treated with cortisone injections ( 2 so far) for a back related problem (nerve block C5+S1). I have had several colds over the new year, january period (the whole family was sick with something) and now have a moderate chest infection (coughing and upper respiratory symptoms). I took some inderal last week and it made no difference but had a scary weekend, with a huge headache, nausea, buzzing in the head, palpitations. Of course my husband is out of town for a few days. These symptoms have been getting worse and i am in total confusion. I await the endochron doctor to call me back hopefully today. I just found this forum and posted this question and read about 'thyroid storms' and now i am totally freaked out! I am actually feeling better than at the weekend but am now very concerned. Have you heard of anyone having reactions to cortisone injections whilst having  Graves disease?
