Hair Miniaturization and thyroid

Has anyone experience hair miniaturization due to thyroid condition/thyroid meds?   Do the hairs eventually return to normal size once hormone levels are stabilized?  I lost alot of hair (possible Telogen Effluvium) from thyroid meds.  Very little regrowth, and the new hairs are "miniaturized"- what does this mean?

I can't tell you really when it started to regrow, I saw my head more "full" and the diffuse areas being covered, I can't tell really because my hair is reeeeaaaally curly and is difficult to tell the new ones apart, is very frizzy i can tell you, like a bad perm, and it was sooo soft and shiny before that makes me not wanting to look at myself in the mirror anymore! but in the positive side is looking full and for now is all I want!
But april is just 4 months ago, give it time to see if is coming back better, I think the regrow takes about 3 months so maybe the "miniaturized" you see is just baby hair.

I lost my hair (approx 50%) in April this year.  No regrowth yet, just some on the sides.  It appears to be coming in "miniaturized", or skinny.   When did the hair start to regrow, and did it also appear "miniaturized"?

When did you loose your hair? it takes a few months to re-grow and more even to go full length. I lost mine more than a year ago and I can't see it re-grow long enough, I see much more volume but no hair style yet, sadly when it comes to hair, it takes time.
