That's a pretty common symptom after starting Cytomel. It should go away once your body gets used to the T3.
You need to give it 10 days. cytomel is some pretty powerful stuff. even the tineyst dose can do some whacky stuff to you. try pushing through it. Think positive that once you get through the bad 10 days, your body will be used to it and you might be feeling better. You are only on day 2 so you may actually feel a little worse than you do now, and then better.
Yeah, I plan on sticking with it. I felt pretty bad after starting synthroid too. I might even try to break that sucker into 1/4ths and go real slow. No need to feel sick when trying to feel better! I was under the impression that T3 meds worked immediately and did not need to build like T4 meds do. I have been taking it for 2 days and took a nap both days so maybe that is not the case. Strangely enough it seemed to have slowed my heart rate down a bit. I am the 1% of weird side effects from drugs, if it is listed as rare, I will have it. Thanks for the input.
It does work more or less immediately. However, there is still the issue of your body having to heal from being hypo and your whole endocrine system having to rebalance with the introduction of yet another hormone. Of course, even with the addition of some T3, your meds might still need further adjustment.
