I agree with tattaboo above. Also keep in mind you just had a baby, and sometimes this can affect your TSH level. Usually it will return to normal with time. This is probably why your dr is waiting 2-3 months. Makes sense to me.

You probably have to wait for 2 or 3 months because if takes about that long to see if there is any change in your blood levels. If they repeated it next week, for example, it would probably be the same as it is now. There is a category called subclinical hyperthyroidism, which has a low TSH and normal T3 and T4. If that is the case, sometimes they just watch it for awhile without any other apparent symptoms. So I would be patient. You don't want to rush into anything. Sometimes endocrinologists just suggest RAI, radioactive ablation, and then your thyroid would be completely destroyed and you would have to take medication for the rest of your life. I would repeat the test as your doctor suggested and take it from there.
