Hypothyroidism and Pre-Menopause?

I was diagnosed as being Hypothyroid in October 2011.  I've been through the ups and downs of getting the correct level of Levothyroxine.  I know it's not a constant thing and will/may need to be adjusted again. Throughout some of the roller coaster of getting the level adjusted I experienced symptoms like dizziness, hot flashes, fatigue and nexk pain.  I am now, at my doctors request, splitting my pill (0.05mg) in half and taking half a day. I've been on this dose for awhile now and everything has been going really well and I've felt more like ME then I had in a long time.  Just went I got comfortable, I started having some symptoms again.  I'm 37 yrs old and am having pre-menopausal symptons now like severe hot flashes, moodiness (my poor family) and the dizziness and fatigue comes and goes again.  I have an appointment in a few days, but am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if anyone has any advice.  I didn't really start to feel this way until day 3 of my period.  Oh the joys of being a woman!  Could I be experiencing Pre-Menopause????  As I stated I am going to the doctor in a few days, but just like to go in to my doctors office with an idea of what's going on so I can be fully prepared to ask the right questions.  Thanks in advance!!!:)

So, you've had antibody tests to rule out Hashi's?

Don't have the labs on hand, but will find them later (not at home).  Nope, don't have Hashitmoto's.  I was never really told what the cause was.  It just came on after being diagnosed with Vit D Def.  I had just finished the high dose prescription vitamin D and started having palpitations and my TSH was slightly (barely) elevated...something like .05 above the high range...again don't have the labs handy.  Zoiks!  I know some people have started Perimenopause younger then me (37) so I am hoping it's just my thyroid acting up....hot flashes and moodiness SUCK!  I'll post the labs in a bit...thanks Goolarra!

Do you have labs to post?  If so, please do along with reference ranges that vary lab to lab and have to be posted with results.

Do you know if you have Hashi's or another cause of your hypo?

Perimenopause can last a looong time.  Also, the whole endocrine system is interrelated, so changes in one part can affect the other.
