I have graves and hashimotos, but in range thyroid blood levels...

anybody have these symptoms, or similar experience?

Symptoms started 1 1/2 years ago with bladder pain and urgency.
However, many tests done, and no uti.

after 7 monthes, symptoms changed to :

drunken feeling 2-3 weeks a month, with anxiety, panic and adrenalin rushing feeling
(never, never had this before)
headaches
acne
off and on elbow joint pain
strange small non itchy red bumps on random areas of body
that seem to precede drunken feeling by a day or so.

I have had mri's, brain scans, and a million blood tests for everything.

A rheumatologist found my ana was out of range, and tested me for lupus and other auto immune. those were negative. But, high thyroid antibodies.
My endocrinologist found I have both hashimotos and graves. but he believes they are cancelling eachother out in terms of blood levels, because my thyroid levels are all 100% in normal range. He tested my adrenals which he said were relativly high. Wants to do a trial of adrenal meds to supress them a little. My neuro doesn't care for the idea . he doesn't think there that high. I trust both doctors so its a hard decision, but nobody has been able to help me yet, so I am wondering if i should give it a try.

Strange thing is, while on the computer, symptoms get a little worse. Even if i am just looking up mindless things like shopping or whatever.

I am inconstant agony with this. I need to be helped so bad. I even saw a psychiatrist for the anxiety. My nervous system is rejecting meds so badly. Everything I take results in teeth chattering anxiety. even advil does this. weird , i know. :o(   they gave me remeron. It helps me sleep, but thats it.

any suggestions???
Thank you

Thanks for the information. I called my endocrinologist with hopes of starting some adrenal meds soon.   its difficult to have so many different symptoms because I never know which kind of doctor to see. So I see them all, and I get all different advice from some really good doctors.  I live in los Angeles where there are so many specialists. You'd think 1 would have the right answer. Ugghhh

Thanks again....:o)

I had bladder pain for two years with no answer. I drank more cranberry juice than should be legal lol.  Had plenty of antibiotics for any possible infection. Nothing helped at all. I started magnesium supplements for my severe magnesium deficiency and my bladder pain decreased 50% in one week!

Bladder pain eventually vanished within a a month or two (can't recall exactly how long) but i am free of bladder pain. Not all magnesium supplements are created equal. Avoid magnesium oxide as this is shown to absorb only 4%! Magnesium is also a treatment used for bladder urgency.

Labs can be normal with Hashitoxicosis (a term that can be used to describe Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease concurrently).  You may want to trial the adrenal suppression medication.  If you feel worse then discontinue.
