I have a bunch of symptoms; I'm constantly cold,in the morning(86-86.5 ) ,my joints hurt,in my hands I started to feel arthritic pain,-so I started to eat vegetarian diet,- now I have alkalosis symptoms too, lightheaded and numb feeling in legs and hands...,-I have palpitations, and without Melatonin and L-Ornithine  and Niacin I hardly can sleep. My digestion is slugish and I can't tolerate alcohol at all.I'm supplementing with Nascent Iodine  every other day.
I was on Nutri Meds Porcini thyroid for 2 years and it was ok,now they don't have it any more,-and I tried the bovine thyroid from them, but it doesn't give me the same balance , I tried levothyroxine and I can't take it, Armor doesn't feel good neither. I don't know what else  can I do.

Your FT4 is 30% of range, and the target for FT4 is somewhere around 50%.  So, yours is a bit low.  FT3 is 37% and should be 50+%.  However, your results are not terrible.

Do you have symptoms?

There is no way to lower TSH directly, since it's merely a reflection of your FT3 and FT4 levels.  Have you had antibody tests to see if you are in the early stages of Hashi's?  Unless there are deficiencies, adding hormones is really the only way to bolster FT3 and FT4 levels.  You might have your iodine level checked since iodine deficiency has historically been a cause of hypothyroidism.

From your result you have subclinical hypothyroidism and need to supplement thyroid hormones. Your doctor will likely prescribe levothyroxine on very low dose like 12.5 mcg then on follow up will raise the dose in steps like 12.5 mcg + 6.125 mcg etc till your TSH come in lower side of normal range which is around .75 to 1.5

Also you need to test your Vitamin D level and supplement if its not in optimal range. If you're level is low thyroid hormones can't be utilized by cells properly also can give you lot of unexplained symptoms especially when increasing levothyroxine dose to bring TSH down.

Please post your actual FT3 and FT4 results with reference ranges.  Ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from our own lab report.

How do you feel?  Do you have hypo symptoms?
