Hello -

This newsletter comes directly off my doctors website and I find alot of the information that may help put together some odd pieces of some thyroid people.

I am really reading alot on how this whole body functions around a few components and when they start to go whacky on us ( ie - perimenopause) all kinds of things could happen if we don't figure it out.

Funny  I read the same article written by a different doctor promoting similar product. I wonder if it is jsut a way to get us to buy the product? I looked up adrenal fatigue and that same article came up in a different listing promoting the same thing! Makes me wonder...might be genuine...but then again...the investigator in me has me wondering.

Great Info.  I wanted to tell you I think natural progesterone helps with the wiskers on the chin! I have been using the Pro-Gest natural cream on and off for two years. I got real sick 2 years ago after I had a tubal ligation, It made my hormones got crazy. The doctor tried to tell me I was in menopause when I was perfectly fine before TL. Anyway after he did blood work it showed I was not in menopause I was very hyper thyroid 0.007 and very low progesterone. I started the Pro-Gest and felt better along with Inderal for the hyper thyriod. Long story short I have Hashimoto and It took 2 years before I went Hypo. I have been on 25mg of synthroid for 2 months I did on my own start taking an extra half during the afternoon because I was getting tired at 7:00pm so I have been taking 37.5 for 5weeks I am due for blood work next week. Yesterday I started to feel terrible again so I think I am ready for a dose change. I really have learned alot from this site and just wanted to thank you! Did you ever have your progestrone level check?

Hi Stella! Good article. I have been doing bio-identical progesterone since last year. When I am faithful doing it I feel a wonderful difference. If anyone is interested in a good brand I will give you the website. She doesn't use preservatives or parabens in her creams. Dr Helen Pensanti is a gyno and md and specializes in bio-identical. She is very particular with product. I love her hormone creams. She also stresses the importance of supporting adrenals too.
