Is it possible that women with....

Is it possible that women with hypothyroidism can get pregnant again? I mean I have a son that is almost 3 years old.  I was just wondering if my thyroid would affect me having another child.  I have tried for 2 1/2 years and can't seem to get pregnant. Is there any hope for me?

My friend was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and after getting meds and tsh regulated, she conceived for the first time.  She was on fertility drugs for four years (about 11 years ago) and finally adopted her daughter after no success with getting pregnant.  Her daughter is now 8 and she is pregnant, kind of by accident since she never could conceive before.  I think the thyroid was the culprit all along.  Talk to your ob/gyn.

I have read that once you get your hormone levels corrected that women can get pregnant. I'm hyperthyroid and pregnant. I have a one year too. Have you discussed your goal with your ob-gyn?
