Is thyroglobin and thyroglobulin the same?

I can't get into a doctor until April 7th. I am completely exhausted with this whole process. Can someone tell me if thyroglobin and thryglobulin are the same? Does anyone out there know what elevated thyroglobin levels means? All other tests are normal T3, T4, TSH but my thyroglobin is 500 (0-3.9) is suppose to normal. I also have a choking feeling in throat all the time. My thyroproxid levels are high also. This all came on after my daughter was born. Does anybody have any answers for me? I am so sick of being sick.

My G.P. gave the me information and sent me on my way. Then I made an appointment ASAP with an endo. and I can't get in to them until April 7th. So here I wait, completely in the dark. Wondering what is in store for me. I am new to this whole thing and am tired of it already. I told my doctor 3 years ago something was wrong and she took tests and said I was fine. I knew there was something wrong and she treated me like I was looking to be sick. But thanks so much for giving the info you gave me. It all helps.  -Kris

You propbably are autoimmune thyroid. I think you can find a bunch of information on our Health PAges that can help you.

Most likely when people complain of tha choking feeling in their neck it is thyroiditis ( enlarged gland)

It can take a while to figure everything out - How is your doctor with all of this? What did they say.
