Just a check in
Hello my fav people!!! Missed you guys! Well, survived the hurricane (although there is another one coming --- thankfully, it is supposed to hit TX -- sorry for the texans here but Louisiana is water logged!) My home PC has not been hooked back up by the obsessive hubby (I should say OCD) after the nasty singing trojan virus was removed. Oh, and lets not forget the massive sinus infection I got and missed the first two days of work this week after being off most of last week for that hurricane. Lets just say the boss was peeved! Feeling a little better now after a shot, antibiotics started, Claritin - D and my daily Armour. I have to admit I missed a couple of days of Armour due to Gustav, but am now on 1 grain total and got my refill yesterday. Asked the pharmacist to give it to me in 30 mg tablets so I can take it 2 x a day. My last script of it was 15mg tablets so I had to work my way up to 4 a day.
When to my ENT for the thyroid check after the switch to Armour. I am happy to report that he says my thyroid seems to be stable right now (by that he means by symptoms, since of course, my blood is ALWAYS normal.) I will continue the Armour 1 grain and am due back in his office 11/11/08. I should be receiving a call in a few days setting up my US since he still feels the nodule in question. He mentioned he wanted to wait until my sinus infection cleared but I guess we will see how long it takes to get a call for the scheduling. With all the sinus crud this week, my neck, surprisingly, has not been terribly swollen and does not hurt. Guess that is good. The week before was a major pain, but - guess it is a week by week / day by day thing for us all!
