Life after Thyroid cancer

It's been a while but Jan was my 1yr check up since RAI. My TSH is very low .1 but oncologist didn't want to change my Synthroid. Has anyone ever had the Thryrogen shot? I will be having that in June? In the mean time I have been having some issues with swollen glands that get like golf balls? I had a CT scan of my neck and found I have stones in my submandibular gland, which the ENT thinks I should be able to secrete out. While I was finding out about the stones the oncologist tells me that the CT scan also showed lymph nodes in my chest that need to watched?? What does that mean? I'm now going for another CT scan in April. Has any of you ever had any lymph node issues after TT and RAI? I would really appreciate any input. Thanks   *K*

I had the thyrogen shots this past October for my yearly scans.  It was MUCH better than having to go hypo beforehand!  However, since my major symptom when going hypo was nausea, I had that after the shots.  But it only lasted for the two days of the shots, not for a month like it did before.

I'm sorry that I don't have an answer for you lymph node questions.  I didn't have any troubles there.

Good luck!
