So, I had a blood test last year and everything was normal except for the Thalassemia that I already knew I had and a TSH level of 0.21. I repeated the same blood test last week (Thalassemia still there, of course) and now my TSH was 0.16.
I have none of the classic symptoms of hyperthyroidism, however I do have occasional palpitations that feel like fluttering, skipping or flip-flops. These palpitations have never stopped me from doing what I want to do, but sometimes do make me feel a bit weak.
My question is, is there any connection between Thalassemia and TSH levels, if not, is there any reason why I'm not presenting with any of the other classic symptoms of hyperthyroidism?
Thanks so much for reading!!
