Low Urine Creatinine

What could this mean?  I had a life insurance eval and the only low flagged thing was Urine Creatinine  at 8.0 with a reference range of 10-300 mg%.

Of course, I got the life insurance but just have to wonder if this is in any way connected to my thyroid malfunction.

That doesn't seem low enough to warrant any real worry, and it's likely due to over-hydration prior to the sample being taken (like Me967 said). However, low levels can indicate the presence of a problem, but nothing specifically, from waht I understand. If you really want to be sure, you could have your level retested...though I'm willing to bet the low levels means nothing--except that you have very effective kidneys. :)

Hi.  I'm not sure how to answer this other than if you drank alot the day before and diluted it.  Do you know what your SG and PH were.  Your muscles can play a role in this and some drugs, but, I'm not sure if thyroid pills would or not.  I'm not thinking real clear tonight but thought I might get someone else to chirp in.
If the bld creatnine was fine I probably would not worry about it.  You could ask your doctor though on your next visit.  I don't know if I helped or not.  A daaaaa.  Not thinking strait tonight at all.  Just thought I would give you a bump my friend.  ((((hugs))))

Bump.
