If you are using in combination with your thyroid meds (200mg of what?) a supplement of herbs like St John's wort or Soy then you will have hot flashes - Thyroid meds can not work right with these products.  So many things may happen. The hotflashes could be:

A reaction to the dosages of meds

The supplements interferring with the meds.

Try supporting the body with a multi instead of just meno.

My queston was is it common to get hot flashes, I have them all the time now, even though im at the age for post - men. I take herbs fr them but have become worsen since the hay waire thyroid...

What were your last couple of test results, and when were they?
Were the tests six weeks apart?

Was the last test a month back?
Maybe it would be time to retest.
